Centuries ago, Cappadocia's volcanic tuff rocks offered natural climate control to the people who lived within them. We have inherited this legacy: our cave rooms maintain a constant temperature of 18–20°C throughout the year, significantly reducing the energy required for heating and cooling compared to conventional buildings.
For all restoration work we use only stone, clay and traditional mortar sourced from the region itself. This approach preserves both the architectural authenticity and the building's thermal balance with its surroundings, while keeping transport-related carbon emissions close to zero.

Most of the fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs used in our restaurant come from producers in and around Nevşehir. Through a seasonal menu and local sourcing, we reduce transport impact while bringing Cappadocia’s own flavours to the table.
Single-use plastics have been completely eliminated from in-room amenities. We use refillable glass bottles, bamboo toothbrushes and biodegradable packaging. This prevents dozens of kilograms of plastic waste every year. We reached this goal in 2023 and continue to maintain it.
